"In my work I want to capture a lush abundance of nature. A healthy garden or rainforest, unspoiled and bursting with life with seeds being blown on the breeze and new fresh shoots growing. A dreamlike vision of the earth before all the pollution and very saddening destruction of the rain forests."
I am working on a series of four seasons this is Summer.
Here is a viewer’s interpretation from a showing.
“Oh wow, that’s wonderful. Instant impact and then detail within detail. Love the texture, colours and shapes. So much energy. Rich and uplifting. It holds interest as you notice more and more. I like the happy children holding hands. The style makes me try to view it as if from a child’s perspective with some wonder and mystery and trying to assess whether those green eyes are friend or foe. Are those blue triangles blue sky on a happy walk to school or teeth in that jaw. You can stare at it and go on a journey. I spent a long time hunting for a bee! Really draws me in.”
Acrylic hand painted acid free white tissue cut paper collage.
Cast of characters.
"I love creating characters. They're all part of the TeeLee world. I imagine them all coming to life and interacting to the grooviest soundtrack."

I love making robots out of waste wood that I get from my husbands woodshop. There is also a business in the mill where my studio is they make big speakers , they have the most wonderful waste plywood shapes that are perfect for creating these guys.
I am fascinated by craft materials aimed at children and love to use them for all the small details. Its incredible what there is out there beautifully made tiny gem stones and glitters, multi coloured paper dots used for scrapbooking .They are best stuck onto these robots than lost in a craft cupboard or never utilised.
